NATIONAL RU Under 17 Cup holders Lymm will face Doncaster at home in the North Regional final March 28 after receiving a Round Two walker-over against Kirkby Lonsdale.

In the final of the Bowl section, Merseyside neighbours Liverpool Collegiate will entertain Waterloo, while there is trans-Pennine rivalry in the other two Northern finals.

In the Plate, Caldy will have ground advantage against Sheffield, while Yorkshiremen Roundhegians from Leeds must also travel in the Shield when they visit Winnington Park.

Winners of these games, which will be decided by a goal-kicking competition in the event of the scoring details being the same, will meet their Midlands counterparts in the National Semi-finals at Doncaster.

Results and Second Round draw are:

Cup: Round Two: Lymm w/o Kirkby Lonsdale, Vale of Lune 6 Doncaster 8.

Final: Lymm v Doncaster

Bowl: Round Two: Liverpool Coll 8 West Park 7, Waterloo 17 Selby 10.

Final: Liverpool Collegiate v Waterloo

Plate: Round Two: Caldy 12 Macclesfield 5, Blaydon 17 Sheffield 53.

Final: Caldy v Sheffield

Shield: Round Two: Ripon 0 Winnington Park 8, Roundhegians 15 Liverpool St Helens 14
