Woodbridge Amazons travel to Chesham for this Sunday’s National Championship SE1 League match. The teams are ranked first and second in their league with The Amazons unbeaten so far this year. The Amazons have launched a ‘Fiji or Bust’ campaign to raise money to tour Fiji - but only as long as they win their League, otherwise all money collected will go to a breast cancer charity. All the more reason for them to keep a clean sheet.

Woodbridge Amazons: 1 Hayley Charles, 2 Beth Kinlan, 3 Deb Dumbill, 4 Charlotte Grainger, 5 Karen Fletcher, 6 Alice Reidy, 7 Sarah Jay, 8 Stephanie Cotton, 9 Georgina Whitfield, 10 Morven McAlpine, 11 Samantha Burton, 12 EJ Stearn (Capt), 13 Titila Maharaj, 14 Amy Smith, 15 Emma Johnson. Replacements: 16 Sarah Cousins, 17 Linda Saint, 18 Jessica Wright.

After four consecutive league wins The Warriors travel to Dagenham this Saturday to take on May & Baker in a cup match. The two teams haven‘t met for a while and Woodbridge will be cautious against a team that heads it‘s Essex Spitfire League 2. May & Baker, now known as Sanofi-aventis, is a leading pharmaceutical company, which may come in handy in what could be a tough match.

Woodbridge Warriors:1 Karl Harris, 2 Shane Manning, 3 Simon Codd, 4 Olly Hurlock, 5 Jez Hannon, 6 Duncan Andrews, 7 Jimmy Mayhew, 8 Jono Cooke, 9 Lewis Ballard, 10 Eddie Johnson, 11 Donovan Steward, 12 Andy Sanday, 13 Kieran Richardson, 14 Lee Barton, 15 Martin Dumbill. Replacements: 16 Darren, 17 Rob Hopkins, 18 Olly Gray, 19 Lance Barton.
