All for Charity - The 2009 Piddle Dash
The recent Piddle Dash, held at Puddletown RFC, was once again a great success, with over 90 entrants completing the 6 km course. So far, over £7000 has been raised in aid of the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation and the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, already more than £2000 up on last year's total.
In a hotly contested Inter-Club Challenge, Westbury RFC took the title of 'fastest team around the course' for the second year running, whilst the host club's own foursome just shaded the 'most sponsorship raised' category with an aggregate total of £512.
