Teignmouth’s under 10’s steady start to the season carried on with a hard fought win over a competitive Brixham side. The game was played in poor conditions with strong winds and heavy rain making the ball hard to handle for both sides. Teignmouth got off to a good start with Dan Woolnough and Archie Pope both scoring before Peter Brogden scored on his debut after several surging runs. Brixham were next to score but Teignmouth hit straight back through Kyran Rendle and Morgan Tait who both touched down to give Teignmouth a 25 point to 5 half time lead.
Teignmouth continued to control most of the second half with Freddy Fearnly having an excellent game in defence and attack. Henry Annal showed excellent support wining lots of ball for his side and was unlucky not to be awarded a try close to the end. Teignmouth did extend their lead with both Kyran and Dan putting in excellent performances and scoring well deserved second tries. Brixham scored one but could not prevent Teignmouth from grabbing a well deserved win.
