Luctonians stayed in the promotion hunt with a five- try victory against Nuneaton in the only game of the weekend in National Two North to survive the cold weather. Alex Davidsonís

men are now seven points and two positions behind second- placed Huddersfield having played one game more than their Yorkshire rivals. Jonny Morris was the star of the show with

a try and four conversions for a 13- point personal haul. Luctonians play Preston Grasshoppers this coming weekend.

League leaders Loughborough Students and Huddersfield are both at home in the next round of fixtures, with the University side, who hold a 12- point lead at the top of the division, at

home to struggling Leicester Lions, while Huddersfield entertain mid- table Bromsgrove. Lions and Bromsgrove turned the form book upside down when the sides met in the

corresponding fixture back in October. Third- placed Westoe are away to Otley.

Kendal prop up the table with Otley and Leicester Lions occupying the second and third relegation places. Kendal are away to Caldy who put 50 points on the Cumbrian outfit when

they met each other at Mint Bridge some four months ago.

Stockport are the only side to score more tries through their forwards than their backs in the division this season. Last seasonís Three North champions have won one more game than
