Your News England Women set to return to the home of England Rugby

Its set to be the busiest autumn ever for England Women who will play two matches against France and three against world champions New Zealand between November 2 and December 3. And Englands Women will also be making a popular return to the home of England Rugby when they take on New Zealand at Twickenham Stadium on November 26th in this exciting test series.

The international action kicks off for the reigning Six Nations and Nations Cup champions on November 2nd against France in Marseille in what will be an uncapped, friendly fixture, followed by a full on international test match on November 5th in Aix-en-Provence.

The two sides normally only play each other in the RBS 6 Nations and, with a 16-3 victory last season and only one point in it the year before, England will be looking to sharpen up their performance before facing three matches against New Zealand.

England will then play the Black Ferns on the hallowed turf of Twickenham Stadium on November 26th , which will also be screened live on Sky Sports, following the Barbarians v Australia fixture, whilst also playing New Zealand at Esher RFC on November 29th and December 3rd.

England last played the Black Ferns at Twickenham Stadium in 2009 and the game was watched by a then record crowd of over 11,000 people. Since then they have met just once, in last years Rugby World Cup final, where England narrowly lost 13-10.

England Head Coach Gary Street said: This is going to be a huge five weeks for us and will mean great opportunities for younger players while building on the skills of the more experienced members of the squad. France present tough opposition, especially on their home turf.

And none of us will have forgotten the last time we played New Zealand, when we ran them so close in the final of the World Cup. Its a massive autumn programme and we hope that all our fans will come out to support us.

Barbarians' chairman John Spencer added: Our annual autumn matches against South Africa, New Zealand and, this November, Australia isa major attraction in the calendar and that is particularly the case this year with no other pre-Christmas internationalsat Twickenham. The fact that we are part of a double-header with the England and New Zealand womenmakes the whole day and occasion a tremendous attraction for everyone involved.
