Woodbridge Rugby Club is delighted to be enjoying another full house at its 2011 Summer Rugby Camp. Some 30 keen young rugby players signed up for this year’s Camp spearheaded by the Club’s new senior men’s Head Coach, Drew Fautley and his coaching team of Paul Casson, Jerry Bodkin and Andy Wilesmith.
The week comprises at well thought out schedule of warm up games, passing, footwork, handling and FUNdamental skills as well as fun touch rugby ending up with the Woodbridge Touch World Cup.
As one parent commented: My son “is really enjoying this year’s rugby camp thank you to all the coaches”.
The Club has geared up its already considerable community involvement with the successful Seckford Shield touch rugby tournament galvanising the pubs of Woodbridge, serious fundraising for its new changing room development and Youth registration just about to start for its 300 strong Youth section. All this ahead of a season which sees it’s Women’s Team, the Amazons, just 2 promotions shy of Premiership rugby and a rejuvenated Warriors looking for a great season under a new Coach.
