Your News England Women's U20s team announced to face South Africa

The England Womens Under 20s team to take on South Africa in the Nations Cup on Wednesday (kick off 4pm local time, 12am BST) in Santa Barbara has been announced.

England Under 20s Head Coach Amanda Bennett has made ten changes to the starting line-up with only fullback Rachel Roberts, fly-half Emily Scott, prop Sarah George, lock Ellie Gatlin and flanker Megan Oaten starting for a second successive game.

Bennett said: Overall, we feel we are in a strong position. The squad is in good condition and in good spirits. The strength of the squad means we are able to give starts to Charlotte Notman and Georgia Peedle, which means that every member of our squad will have started a game in this tournament.

We have had the opportunity to do our homework on South Africa, who clearly created a number of problems for Canada which I am sure we will no doubt have to face on Wednesday but we have prepared well for these.

England will be looking for their third victory on the bounce to secure their place in Saturdays Nations Cup final after victories over Canada and the USA.

We feel we are making significant progress not just in technical areas but also in our understanding of our opposition and in the way we have grown together as a squad, added Bennett. Ultimately we know we will need to perform well to win but our goals are focussed on the way we play as well as the final result.
