UNDER 15’s v HONITON
Teignmouth Under 15’s travelled to Honiton and came away winning comfortably 63 – 0.
Honiton never really put up much resistance. Teignmouth scored 6 first half tries through Skipper Joe Abbot, Prop Jack Evans, Scrum Half Seamus McKenna. Number 8, Jake Monnington, scored twice, one of them being his speciality from the re-start, the half was finished off with a try by Fly Half Jack Saunders, Saunders also added 3 conversions.
In the second half Teigns made several changes, some positional, but even with play being stopped 10 minutes early Teignmouth managed another 5 tries. Outside Centre Josh Davey, Full Back Ross Manester, Inside Centre Shaun Bayliss, Second Row Chris Wathen crashed over and Winger Sam Simmonds finished off the try count. Saunders added one second half conversion.
Honiton battled throughout but were never allowed to play.
Next week Teignmouth Under 15’s take on Sidmouth at home, which will be a much sterner test.
