Newbury slipped to their heaviest- ever home defeat after Jersey ran out 99-0 winners at Monks Lane. Winger Ed Dawson set the tone with the first of his
three tries scored after just 15 seconds. No.8 Ashley Elphiston bagged a hat- trick, too, but replacement wing David Doherty went one better with four tries –
all in the second half.
Ealing also scored straight from the kick off as they went on the rampage against Hinckley. The league leaders posted 20 tries - and 130 points - to take their
overall tally for the season past 1,000. Ronnie McLean and Phil Chesters both crossed the line four times and Owen Bruynseels scored a hat- trick.

Tony Yapp proved the hero for Taunton at home to Old Albanians by landing a match- winning drop goal with the last kick of the game just minutes after he
had drawn the scores level with his only penalty of the afternoon.
Henley got maximum returns from the weekend thanks to a 31-27 success at home to Canterbury who picked up their third losing bonus point in a row.
Worthing Raiders lived up to their nickname by leaving Lydney with four points despite their hosts dominating territory and possession.
