Leicester's Seru Rabeni will now miss the start of the new Guinness Premiership season after he admitted having played in three 7's competitions while he was in the middle of a 14 week ban for eye gouging. The Fijian denied gouging Andy Kyriacou, the Saracens hooker, in a league match in March.
Orginally Rabeni had been banned from April 1 until July 7 but has now had his ban extended by an RFU Disciplinary Panel in Bristol. The new ban begins on August 15 and ends on the 17th October.
