Woodbridge traveled to Norfolk side Holt on Saturday,Desperate for there first win of the season.

Holt kicked off and put Woodbridge under pressure straight away,the visiting side still on the Coach.

The pressure told and Holt scored after five minutes with a try out wide.This was followed by a further

score ten minutes later and Woodbridge were down by 12 points to 0.Woodbridge began to fight back

and finished the half the stonger of two sides and came close to scoring with wingers Harry Greenall

and Sam Jackson coming uo short.

The second half began with Woodbridge going on attack and began making in roads into the Holt

half of the field.An excellent try was scored by Jamie Smith and another a few moinutes later through

Conner Oreilly,kicker Lance Barton converting one of the tries.This bought the scores to 15 points to

12 with Woodbridge looking good.Woodbridge then had a winger Sam Jackson sent to the sin bin

for a spare tackle.Holt used the extra man advantage to score a try out wide which was converted

taking the scores to 22- 12.Woodbridge through everything at Holt to no avail had a long trip back to

Suffolk to think about what went wrong in a very winnable game.
